Registration
Registering to attend an ESU program is done through our On-line Registration System (ORS), and involves two basic steps. First, you will need to create a Student Profile. This can be done at any time, regardless of whether the registration period is open or not. Once the registration period opens, and any time before the deadline, you can then do step two, which is to log in and register for the program you are interested in.
Course Choice
Please note that you will be asked for several courses that you are interested in, and you will be placed in one of those courses. We always try to place you in the course you have indicated as your first preference, but that is not always possible, so you must be willing to take any of the courses you indicate. Remember, this is a safe place to try something new, so don’t be afraid to attempt something outside your traditional comfort zone.
Random Allocation
Course allocation is NOT first-come, first-served. There is no added benefit of registering the moment it opens (except that you will not forget to do it later). All students who register by the deadline will have a fair and equal opportunity to be placed in courses. At the time of registration, the computer will assign a randomly generated number to each student, which is used to place students in courses to ensure fairness. Please respect this process.
